So - having not made anything in the month of May, I decided to make another melting centrepiece dish, this time, the Strawberry Chocolate Island Cake.
Chocolate cake hemisphere (with a strawberry hidden inside) in a dish, with a white chocolate lid, topped with another strawberry with some decoration.
Pour on the hot white chocolate ganache, which melts the chocolate lid and sauces the cake, and the topping strawberry floats in the middle on top of the hemisphere.
Pour, melt, watch, eat
Really happy with the way this presentation worked out - and this was the first take!
Pleased with how these plate-ups are going, but going to go back to standard chocolate making now.
Is that more equipment I hear being delivered...?
